I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping individuals build stronger relationships and find greater meaning in their lives. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Saint Francis. My experience working with a non-profit organization has provided me with the opportunity to work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, stress and burnout.
My approach is client-centered, and I am dedicated to creating a warm and collaborative therapeutic alliance, recognizing the importance of understanding the culture, systems, and relationships that shape people's lives and challenges. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and Motivational Interviewing, to help clients identify and reach their goals using their own expertise and insight.
I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals can feel heard and understood. When I am working with clients, I value building genuine rapport, exploring their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, ultimately empowering them to navigate challenges and reach their full potential.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, being active, and spending time with loved ones. I find that these passions help me bring a sense of balance and perspective to my work as a counselor.
