As someone who continues to walk the path of self-discovery and transformation, I understand the setbacks and triumphs that come with it.
Counseling has always been my lifelong passion, and I've dedicated myself to helping young adults discover their inner strength and resilience while managing the challenges of anxiety. Following my Bachelor’s degree at College of Charleston, I earned my Master’s and Education Specialist degrees at Florida State University and continued on towards clinical licensure in South Carolina.
Throughout my early career, I had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, affording me valuable insights into the intricate dynamics of anxiety and its impact on young adults. It became clear that while anxiety and other mental health concerns are common experiences, there are many hurdles to accessing the right support.
My mission as a Licensed Professional Counselor and founder of CBC is to educate and empower young adults to recognize where their lives feel stuck, equip them with the skills to navigate these challenges, and help them live with a newfound sense of freedom and confidence. At CBC, we wholeheartedly believe that young adults possess the capacity for resiliency, even in the face of mental health struggles.
The journey to and through adulthood is complex, but it doesn't have to be a path defined by the weight of your hardships. With the right guidance, support, and therapy, you can regain your confidence, find your voice, and thrive as you navigate the complexities of the modern world. Our commitment is grounded in offering accessible and compassionate care, because every young adult deserves to find peace, confidence, and fulfillment in their lives.
Formally trained as a mental health counselor with dual Master's degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Psychology, I have 14 years of experience working in a variety of clinical settings, where I have taken on both the role of clinician and supervisor.
Oftentimes, people have a preconceived notion of what therapy is, and what it is not, which may raise questions such as “Can therapy truly help me or my loved one?” and “Will my therapist really understand who I am and where I would like to go?” To those questions, I can say, yes! Therapy is often described as a journey, and getting started can help you or your loved one get to the desired destination. I hope that I can assist in this deep process, especially knowing how scary this can be for so many of all ages!
Whether it's addressing unhealthy thoughts and behaviors, better managing emotions or reactions, improving academic/work performance, strengthening relationships, or establishing a more positive outlook, my passion is working with children, adolescents, and adults by meeting them where they are in various aspects of their lives and helping to foster real change. I have had the fortunate opportunity to be a part of many journeys! If you take that first step, then you have started on a path that I hope will bring you greater happiness.
I obtained a Bachelor's degree in philosophy at Presbyterian College and a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling from The Citadel Graduate College.

I received my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University Florida in 2014. I have a natural curiosity and a desire for learning that has led me on many paths in life. I spent more than 15 years serving my community in non-profit case management, fundraising, and leadership before moving on to private practice for mental health. I have experience teaching important life skills to all age groups and this led me to understand that mental health is much more than just thoughts, feelings, and genetics. People deal with all kinds of challenges such as economic/financial hardships, family discord, and health problems that lead to an increased need for mental health services. I am proud to serve those who seek my help.
I spent many years helping women achieve their dreams and build confidence through increasing skill building for independence. It has been my passion to provide encouragement to women of various age groups to seek out and commit to fulfilling their own needs through increased self-awareness and exploration.
